Coffee Beanery Gives Funjet Vacations Jamaica Trip and Coffee Prizes as Part of Scratch and Win Game

Flushing, Mich., November 12, 2007 - Just in time for the holiday season, Coffee Beanery is rolling out a scratch and win game, from November 11 through December 31, 2007, in its stores. Among the prizes is a trip for two to Jamaica, a year of coffee, and other Coffee Beanery drinks.

Coffee Beanery has partnered with Funjet Vacations to give away a trip for two to Jamaica with accommodations at the all inclusive Riu Ocho Rios. Other prizes include a year of specialty coffee, and other coffee and drink prizes.

The contest will be supported with in-store materials that promote the scratch and win tickets, as well as an extensive in-home print campaign. Inserts will be in many of the major daily and weekly newspapers in markets with Coffee Beanery stores, other markets will receive mailers to let potential customers know about the contest. A total of more than 6.5 million impressions will be generated from the print campaign.

The contest is intended to bring in extra traffic and raise the check average in the stores for the holiday season. The stores will require that a customer make a purchase of $9.99 or more to receive the scratch and win ticket. Stores are leveraging this as an opportunity to sell more of holiday gift sets, and the 1 lb. bags of specialty coffee which start at $7.99.

Robust Promotions is handling the administrative side of the contest. Robust Promotions specializes in instant-win scratch-off promotions of this kind, where the emphasis is on generating word-of-mouth buzz to attract new customers, while increasing frequency from loyal customers. Robust handled this promotion as a turnkey service, providing consulting, graphic design, legal, printing, shipping and bonds/registrations.

Funjet Vacations is providing a seven-night trip for two to Jamaica as the grand prize. Winners will fly into Montego Bay's International Airport for seven nights at one of Jamaica's most popular all-inclusive resorts, The Riu Ocho Rios is located on a breathtaking beach, surrounded by Ocho Rios famous rainforests and spectacular waterfalls.
