Coffee Beanery Proud of their Newest Addition

9/4/07, LAKE CHARLES LA - Chad Galacia opened his first Coffee Beanery in Lake Charles, LA in June. Chad along with his wife Sharon and his sister Stephanie run the store and are making their Coffee Beanery an integral part of the community. All three Galacias are from the Lake Charles area and have a wonderful working relationship in the community. Prior to opening their Coffee Beanery, the Galacia family helped raise several thousand dollars for the local community via Coffee Beanery fundraising program. This networking and community involvement really paid off in the first few months of being open. Coffee Beanery is very proud of the Galcias and their community involvement in Lake Charles how their efforts translate into sales.

"The first few months are crucial to a stores success," said JoAnne Shaw, Founder and President of the Franchisee Chain. "A store really needs to start off on the right foot. It is important to let the local community know Coffee Beanery is owned by local people who shop in the same stores their customers shop. The Galacias held a colossal pre -opening party for Lake Charles. They wanted to share our great product with the entire community and give the community an opportunity to taste and see the quality of everything that Coffee Beanery has to offer and make them want to come back. We know that we only get one chance to make a first impression, and we train our franchisees to keep that in mind when they open their stores."'

The new store offers specialty coffee drinks, breakfast and lunch wraps, delicious baked goods, and the world's best specialty coffees. Customers can stop in and enjoy meeting a friend, have a quick meeting, or relax and enjoy a book in the comfortable dine-in area of their newly remodeled store. If they are in a hurry, they can make a quick trip through their drive-thru and be on their way.

Founded by Joanne and Julius Shaw in 1976, Coffee Beanery is a privately held company that franchises and supports a network of upscale cafes, retail stores, carts and kiosks that specialize in serving the finest specialty Arabica coffee. Coffee Beanery began franchising in 1985, and has nearly 150 worldwide locations.
