Store Development Program Coffee Beanery's store development provides store design, approved architects, layout & plan review, construction management, furniture, fixtures & equipment, and all store specifications. We are with you every step of the way!

Investment

Franchise Fee: $27,500

Coffee Beanery's franchise fee is the most inclusive in the specialty coffee industry. Our franchise fee includes site selection support, layout and design services, training and grand opening support; initial customized printed materials, and the use of Coffee Beanery system and trademarks.
 

Royalty Contributions: 6% of Gross Sales Royalties are paid weekly and fund ongoing development and support including regional meetings/conventions, toll-free support, online support including e-mail bulletins and newsletters, system updates, enhancements, research and development. Marketing Fund Contribution: 2% of Gross Sales Coffee Beanery's Marketing Fund is used to benefit the franchisees. Expenditures from the fund provide franchisees with local brand building materials, professionally prepared marketing and advertising materials.

Financial Requirements:  
Liquidity/Cash Equivalents $125k - $150k / Net Worth $350k - $400k

Total Franchise Investment: $300k - $450k US

Store Development

Location

Effective franchising, simply stated, is putting the right people in the right places. For Coffee Beanery, the right places, typically, are neighborhood shopping centers and other highly visible, high traffic locations. Coffee Beanery works with each franchisee in selecting and approving the "right places" using The Coffee Beanery's proven criteria. Over 20 site success factors are considered including demographics (population, income, education, etc.), tenant mix, traffic patterns and counts, physical attributes, competition and residential/small business mix.

Construction Coffee Beanery stores feature modern design, functional fixtures, specialized lighting and branded menu board and signs which all combine to create the best looking store in the industry, bar none.   Training and Education  Coffee Beanery's franchisees start in business as highly trained professionals as a result of Coffee Beanery's 21-28 day classroom management training, on-site opening training, training follow-up visits and on-line manuals that are available all the time, all year-round. Continuing education is also featured during Regional Meeting and National Convention workshop programs.

Coffee Beanery's Store Management System

At Coffee Beanery, we understand the importance of helping our franchisees be successful. Because your employees will play a key role in your business operation, it is important to find candidates that best fit your store. To assist with this, Coffee Beanery franchisees have unlimited access to a pre-screening program. These online, behavior-based questionnaires help identify those candidates that have desirable behaviors in key areas: Work Ethic/Integrity, Customer Service, and Leadership/Management.

Coffee Beanery's Technology

Coffee Beanery uses a POS system which is designed to guide stores with daily, weekly and monthly sales, cost of goods, schedules, payroll expenses, credit card and gift card processing. This program is a great asset to the franchise in store management system.
